Fall 2014 Update

Hello all,

No I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth, but nearly.
I've taken some time off, watched a lot of baseball, flogged Battle at Beaver Creek to the festivals and people have had very nice things to say about the film.
I have decided to release Battle at Beaver Creek on REELHOUSE, Indiereign and Distrify on December 21 2014.
There viewers will be able to stream or download the film for a very low price.

Battle at Beaver Creek has had a 25% gross return already, it is hoped that Indiereign will produce enough funds to pay off my initial investment and begin funding the next film, Real Country Dark.

This fall and winter I will be busy preparing the final touches for the release of BaBC, then releasing it, December 21st online. Now that I have finished the script for Real Country Dark, I will begin shopping it around, continue looking for mountain cabins, write a definitive budget. RCD is a film that, although technically is going to cost 15 times what Battle at Beaver Creek did, is a much smaller project, more personal.

The plan is to raise the funds with crowd sourcing, venture capital, personal funds (should there be any,) hopefully we'll garner some professional attention too, then make the film much as we did the first time, only better. Being able to pay everyone, for a change, will help. Real Country Dark also has the marketable advantage of being a very strange, exciting and true story. It is the kind of thing that we should be able to make well, it is the kind of film people want to see. I look forward to talking more about it in the near future.
